Here's one of series of Canada goose portraits I have taken in the early spring in Sunkem meadow Park. I came there hoping to see some birds that returned from the south but it was too early and all I could find were Canada geese. SO i decided to take an oppotuniy and take some portraits of thiscommon but really adorabe birds under different light conditions and from different points of view.
Canada goose sitting on its nest. I always thought that goose nest should be big and somehow similar to the swan's nest. I was really surprised that those birds need just few twigs and bunch of feather to lay eggs. No surprise that they are such successful breeders! I have never chance to visit this nest again but I hoped that the bird was successful and ended up with a bunch of yellow goslings
